Ms. Marvel season 2

Ms. Marvel Season 2 Gets First Major Update From MCU Actor!

After its explosive debut during Phase 4, Ms. Marvel left fans wanting more. For two years, news about Ms. Marvel Season 2 has been almost nonexistent. However, one of the show’s stars has finally broken the silence — offering a mix of hope and disappointment about what lies ahead. Despite the uncertainty, his comments reveal new insight into where the series might be headed.

Ms. Marvel Season 2 Likely Not Happening, Says Aramis Knight

ScreenRant recently interviewed actor Aramis Knight, who played Red Dagger in the Disney+ series, at the Karate Kid: Legends NYC premiere. When asked whether his character might return, Knight responded:

ScreenRant: “Do you think we’ve seen the last of Red Dagger?”

Aramis Knight: “I wish not, but I think so.”

The conversation then shifted to Ms. Marvel Season 2, and Knight’s answer left fans with more questions than answers:

ScreenRant: “No Ms. Marvel Season 2?”

Aramis Knight: “I don’t think so. It’s been a long time now, so I’m not really sure. I would love to, of course. I was supposed to make appearances and other things, but it didn’t end up working out — some logistical stuff, COVID stuff, and I think also creative stuff. Still, that was an amazing show. I don’t know… I’m still waiting for the call, to be honest.”

What This Means for Ms. Marvel Season 2

While Knight’s comments suggest Ms. Marvel Season 2 isn’t in active development, he didn’t completely shut the door on it. In fact, he made it clear that he’d love to come back:

“I would love to [return]. I’m still waiting for the call to be honest.”

This openness to return gives fans some reason to stay optimistic, even if the update doesn’t confirm a continuation.

Marvel Remains Silent About the Show’s Future

It’s important to note that Marvel Studios has not officially canceled Ms. Marvel Season 2. Kamala Khan, played by Iman Vellani, remains an important character in the MCU, especially after her standout role in The Marvels (2023).

Some insiders believe the delay might be tied to Marvel’s restructuring of its TV content. Since Ms. Marvel was developed before this new strategy, Ms. Marvel Season 2 could be in limbo until Marvel’s upcoming phases are fully mapped out.

Kamala Khan’s Future Beyond Ms. Marvel Season 2

Even if a second season doesn’t come soon, Kamala Khan is far from finished in the MCU. Rumors continue to link her to the Young Avengers project, and her appearance at the end of The Marvels strongly suggests she’ll return.

Knight also joked in the interview:

ScreenRant: “I think she’s assembling the Young Avengers right now, so she’s got your number on speed dial.”

Aramis Knight: “She’s definitely got my number on speed dial, that’s for sure.”

What Made Ms. Marvel Season 1 So Unique?

The first season of Ms. Marvel debuted in 2022 and told the story of Kamala Khan, a teenage Pakistani-American girl from Jersey City. After discovering her ability to harness cosmic energy through a mystical bangle, Kamala’s life transformed as she embraced her new identity as a superhero.

Themes of family, legacy, and cultural identity made the show stand out from other MCU entries. It was heartfelt, visually unique, and grounded in real-world emotion — all of which made the anticipation for Ms. Marvel Season 2 even stronger.

Despite the uncertain future, fans shouldn’t lose hope. The fact that Marvel hasn’t canceled the show leaves room for future development. And with Kamala Khan already involved in team-up stories, Ms. Marvel Season 2 might not be gone — just delayed. Until then, fans can rewatch her origin story on Disney+, revisit The Marvels, and keep their fingers crossed for that long-awaited phone call to Red Dagger.
