“It was certainly not the intent… My social media team assembled some footage and was like, ‘Oh, this could be cool. We’ll put some stuff up and thank the fans.’ And I was like, ‘Yeah, cool.’”
Furthermore, he went on to explain how fans misunderstood the message.
“But then I had a few people ask me about it, and someone on my team said, ‘Ugh, we’ve given the wrong impression here.’ We didn’t do any [damage control]; there was no damage control necessary. But a lot was read into a little.”
In reality, the video didn’t signal the end of Thor’s journey—it simply reflected a moment of appreciation and reflection.

Despite the rumors, Hemsworth has confirmed that he’s already working on the “next chapter” of Thor’s story. He emphasized how important the role is to him personally, further hinting that there’s still much more to come
