A new Marvel Spy Thriller is reportedly in development as Daredevil: Born Again moves toward its reported third and final season. The potential project has already sparked comparisons to other grounded and mystery-driven superhero series.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Daredevil: Born Again will reportedly conclude with Season 3. As fans prepare for the series’ eventual ending, Marvel Studios may already have another project waiting in the wings.
Marvel Spy Thriller Could Be Called Zodiac
Scooper Borys Kit reportedly refers to the Marvel spy thriller as Zodiac. Kit wrote:
“But when one show ends, another one begins: Marvel greenlight spy thriller show referred to as ZODIAC.”
However, the report does not confirm whether Zodiac will be the project’s final title. Marvel has also not officially announced the series.
What Does Zodiac Mean in Marvel?
The name Zodiac has strong connections to Marvel Comics. Several Marvel characters and groups have used the Zodiac name over the years. Many of them have been associated with criminal organizations and international operations.
Some Zodiac-related characters have also crossed paths with the Avengers. That history makes the name particularly fitting for a potential spy-focused Marvel project. However, the use of the name does not confirm which version of Zodiac Marvel could explore.
Could Marvel Spy Thriller Zodiac Be Part of the Post-Secret Wars MCU?
