The emotional response to the Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer quickly spread across social media. Many fans compared its impact to the recently released Avengers: Doomsday teaser.
However, some viewers felt that the new Spider-Man trailer created a stronger emotional connection. X user @brndxix wrote:
“Does Marvel have a different company doing the Spider-Man trailers? These are so much better than the Doomsday one.”

Meanwhile, other fans focused on the nostalgia surrounding Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. X user @I_Am_Orion wrote:

Spider-Man: Brand New Day Cast Includes Several MCU Favorites
Tom Holland will return as Peter Parker in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The actor first played the character in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War.
Additionally, Zendaya and Jacob Batalon will reprise their respective roles. Their return brings back two of the most important characters from Peter’s previous MCU adventures.
The film also features several major MCU stars.
Mark Ruffalo will return as Bruce Banner, also known as the Hulk. Furthermore, Jon Bernthal will reprise his role as Frank Castle, better known as the Punisher.
Their appearances could expand the film’s connection to the wider MCU. However, Marvel Studios has kept several story details under wraps.
Sadie Sink will also make her MCU debut in an undisclosed role. At this time, Marvel has not revealed the identity of her character.
Meanwhile, Michael Mando, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Marvin “Krondon” Jones III will also appear in the movie.
Release Date and Director
Destin Daniel Cretton directs Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The upcoming movie is scheduled to arrive in theaters on July 31, 2026.
