Avengers: Doomsday

Avengers: Doomsday Trailer Hides 3 Major Details That Could Change the MCU’s Future!

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is entering one of its biggest chapters yet. Avengers: Doomsday will play a major role as the Multiverse Saga moves toward its final chapter. As a result, every major reveal could have huge consequences for the future of the franchise.

Now, the first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday has finally arrived. The footage features several major heroes and plenty of exciting moments. However, it also hides a few details that could be much more important than they initially seem.

In fact, three major details from the Avengers: Doomsday trailer could help shape the future of the MCU.

The Official Avengers: Doomsday Synopsis Teases a Multiversal Collision

Before looking at the biggest trailer details, Marvel Studios’ official synopsis provides important information about the film’s story.

The official synopsis states:

“Universes collide and the Multiverse Saga begins its final chapter in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday. Beloved heroes from three distinct universes will be set on a deadly collision course and ultimately face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered. This epic film will lay the foundation for the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.”

The synopsis confirms that Avengers: Doomsday will bring together heroes from three distinct universes.

Therefore, the film will be much bigger than a standard Avengers team-up. Instead, Marvel Studios appears to be using the movie to bring together different corners of its multiverse.

The story could also completely change the MCU before the arrival of Avengers: Secret Wars.

The Avengers: Doomsday Trailer Introduces a New Avengers Tower

One of the most interesting details in the Avengers: Doomsday trailer appears in the background.

A brand-new Avengers Tower can be seen in the footage. However, this is not simply a redesigned version of the familiar building. The tower features a new “A” logo that appears to draw inspiration from the classic 1960s aesthetic of The Fantastic Four.

This change could be far more important than a simple visual redesign.

The MCU has already confirmed that the Fantastic Four will play a major role in Avengers: Doomsday. Therefore, the new Avengers Tower could represent a major shift in the relationship between Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and Marvel’s First Family.

The Fantastic Four Arrive at Avengers Tower

The trailer also shows the Fantastic Four arriving at Avengers Tower. Reed Richards, Sue Storm, and the rest of the team appear to meet with Thor and other Avengers. However, the trailer does not reveal exactly when or where this scene takes place.

That mystery could be crucial. Since Avengers: Doomsday will involve multiple universes, the scene might not take place in the main MCU timeline. Instead, it could occur in another universe before the events of the film bring different heroes together.

At the same time, the redesigned Avengers Tower could suggest that the Fantastic Four’s universe has its own version of the Avengers. As a result, the building’s new design may provide an important clue about the film’s multiversal setting.

Avengers: Doomsday Brings Loki Back Into the Real World

The second major detail involves one of the most important characters in the Multiverse Saga.

Loki is back.

That reveal is especially surprising because the events of Loki Season 2 appeared to leave the character in a very different position. After sacrificing himself, Loki took his place at the center of the multiverse, holding together its infinite timelines.

For that reason, many fans assumed that Loki would remain on his throne indefinitely. However, the Avengers: Doomsday trailer shows Loki back in the real world.

Loki’s TVA Identification Card Raises New Questions

The trailer shows Loki carrying a TVA identification card. Interestingly, the card features a tree symbol. That detail immediately raises several questions.

How did Loki leave his throne? Has he found a new way to oversee the multiverse? Alternatively, could the TVA have discovered a method to allow him to travel between timelines?

The tree symbol may also connect directly to Loki’s new role as the protector of the multiverse.

Therefore, Loki’s appearance could be one of the most important reveals in the entire Avengers: Doomsday trailer. His return may also suggest that the events of Avengers: Secret Wars will depend heavily on the choices he makes.

Spider-Man Is Missing From the Avengers: Doomsday Trailer

The third major detail is not something that appears in the trailer. Instead, it is someone who does not appear.

Spider-Man is completely absent from the Avengers: Doomsday trailer.

That omission has already sparked major questions among Marvel fans. Tom Holland’s Spider-Man has become one of the MCU’s most important heroes. Therefore, many viewers expected him to appear in the first footage for the next Avengers movie.

Will Tom Holland Appear in Avengers: Doomsday?

Ongoing rumors have claimed that Tom Holland may not appear in Avengers: Doomsday. According to those reports, scheduling conflicts with Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey could have affected his availability. However, Marvel Studios has not officially confirmed that Holland will be absent from the film.

The actor is also widely expected to return as Spider-Man in Avengers: Secret Wars. Therefore, his absence from the first Avengers: Doomsday trailer does not necessarily mean that Peter Parker will have no role in the movie.

Moreover, the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home left the door open for other Spider-Man variants. While none of them appear in the trailer, the Multiverse Saga still makes their return possible.

Avengers: Doomsday Could Set Up the MCU’s Biggest Future Changes

The first Avengers: Doomsday trailer does more than introduce a massive cast. It also appears to establish several mysteries that could influence the future of the MCU.

The new Avengers Tower could reveal more about the relationship between the Avengers and the Fantastic Four. Meanwhile, Loki’s return raises questions about the future of the multiverse. Finally, Spider-Man’s absence could become one of the film’s biggest surprises.

The official synopsis also confirms that heroes from three different universes will be placed on a collision course.

The film features a massive ensemble cast, including Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Anthony Mackie as Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Letitia Wright as Shuri, and Paul Rudd as Ant-Man. Other major characters are also expected to appear. As a result, the movie could become one of the biggest turning points in Marvel Studios history.

Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 18, 2026.

The film will then be followed by Avengers: Secret Wars, which is currently scheduled for release on December 17, 2027.

As the Multiverse Saga moves toward its conclusion, the secrets hidden in Avengers: Doomsday could ultimately shape the next era of the MCU.
