Avengers: Doomsday Crossover

2 Major Avengers: Doomsday Stars Reportedly Had ‘Blow Up’ on Set!

Two major stars of Avengers: Doomsday reportedly clashed during production, creating unexpected tension on set. While the film remains one of the most anticipated MCU projects, reports suggest that behind-the-scenes drama may have briefly disrupted filming. Moreover, this incident has fueled fan speculation about how such tensions could impact the movie’s overall production.

What Happened on the Avengers: Doomsday Set?

The Russo Brothers will direct Avengers: Doomsday, which hits U.S. theaters on December 18, 2026. Marvel will then release Avengers: Secret Wars on December 17, 2027. However, before fans see Earth’s Mightiest Heroes assemble again, production reports have hinted at trouble among the cast.

Entertainment insider Jeff Sneider revealed during an episode of The Hot Mic that some chaos erupted behind the cameras. According to him,

“The dysfunction I’ve heard on this set is rivaled only by that of the Fast and Furious movies. There’s a lot of testosterone and a lot of ego on that set. Many people think they know what the best way is. In the end, there’s only one person whose way matters, and that’s Robert Downey Jr.

Reported On-Set Tensions

ComicBookMovie further reported that the clash between the two actors grew so intense that the filmmakers altered or even removed certain scenes. This indicates that the dispute was not just a minor disagreement but a serious issue that affected production.

How Did Marvel Handle the Clash?

John Rocha, also speaking on The Hot Mic, provided more context about the reported altercation. He explained,

“They are two pretty big actors. A comment — from what I understand — was made in jest that was a bit too familiar because these actors didn’t know each other that well and crossed a line. One of the actors got upset and confronted the other…And that caused a big rift and battle.”

Marvel’s Intervention

Rocha went on to share that Marvel quickly stepped in to defuse the situation. He added,

“From what I understand, there’s been no other incident between those two actors that I have heard. Maybe there has been, but I have not heard anything. [The initial incident] was a pretty big blow-up, apparently.”

Thankfully, reports suggest that the actors exchanged apologies and resolved the tension. Still, the story leaves fans curious about which stars clashed and how the studio managed to keep production on track.

The Pressure of Avengers: Doomsday

It is no surprise that tensions may have flared during production. The Avengers films are among the most ambitious projects in Hollywood, often bringing together dozens of major stars in one movie. With such a high-profile ensemble cast, conflicting personalities and creative visions are almost inevitable.

The Russo Brothers, who directed Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, have extensive experience managing massive productions. However, expectations rise even higher for Avengers: Doomsday, since it kicks off the MCU’s climactic Multiverse Saga storyline.

Fans are already speculating online about which stars participated in the alleged feud. While Marvel has not commented on the matter, many believe the situation is under control. Moreover, fans remain focused on the excitement surrounding the upcoming release rather than the reported conflict.

Although the behind-the-scenes drama made headlines, Avengers: Doomsday is still moving forward as planned. Given Marvel Studios’ strong track record of managing large ensemble casts, fans can confidently expect the film to deliver the high-stakes storytelling and spectacular action the MCU is known for. Moreover, the incident highlights just how much pressure and expectation rest on the shoulders of these actors as the Multiverse Saga reaches its climax.
