Marvel Studios Unveils 3 Spooky MCU Disney+ Series to Stream This Halloween!

Marvel fans looking for chills and thrills this Halloween are in for a treat! Recently, Marvel Studios has unveiled three spooky MCU shows that perfectly fit the Halloween spirit — Werewolf by Night, Agatha All Along, and Marvel Zombies. Interestingly, the announcement came via Marvel’s official X account on October 28, right before Halloween week. As a result, fans can now look forward to a supernatural streaming season on Disney+ filled with horror, magic, and Marvel’s signature twist.

MCU Shows That Celebrate Halloween Magic

The trio clearly highlights Marvel’s darker and more mysterious side, thereby showcasing a creative shift toward supernatural and horror-inspired storytelling. Additionally, with projects like Deadpool & Wolverine and Marvel Zombies exploring R-rated and TV-MA territory, Marvel Studios continues to expand beyond traditional superhero themes. As a result, these MCU shows deliver a refreshing mix of horror, humor, and heart to the ever-evolving franchise.

Werewolf by Night – A Classic Horror Tribute

Although technically a Special Presentation, Werewolf by Night still remains a Halloween favorite. Visually, it is shot in black and white, thus paying homage to classic monster movies of the 1930s and 40s. Furthermore, under the direction of Michael Giacchino, the story follows Jack Russell, a man cursed to transform into a werewolf. Ultimately, its eerie visuals and haunting score make it one of the boldest MCU shows ever released.

Agatha All Along – Witchcraft and Curses Unleashed

Next up is Agatha All Along, starring Kathryn Hahn as the mischievous witch Agatha Harkness. Building on her breakout role in WandaVision, this Disney+ series dives deep into witchcraft, curses, and gothic horror. Additionally, the show features Aubrey Plaza, Joe Locke, and Patti LuPone, promising a blend of dark humor and mystical tension. Fans can expect this MCU show to explore both the origins and future of Agatha’s powers.

Marvel Zombies – The Undead Rise

For fans craving more gore and grit, Marvel Zombies offers an animated yet shockingly brutal take on the Marvel Universe. In this alternate reality, heroes like Ms. Marvel, Hulk, and Spider-Man must survive a world overrun by undead Avengers. This series pushes the boundaries of Marvel animation with intense visuals and mature storytelling, marking another major step toward adult-oriented MCU shows.

Spooky MCU Shows Missing from the List

Interestingly, WandaVision — which featured a memorable Halloween episode — and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness did not make the official Halloween lineup. However, despite their eerie aesthetics, Marvel ultimately chose to highlight newer projects that more effectively embody the supernatural and horror tone of this season.

Ultimately, these three MCU shows — Werewolf by Night, Agatha All Along, and Marvel Zombies — clearly showcase Marvel’s evolution into darker storytelling. Furthermore, they reveal how the studio is confidently embracing new genres while still keeping its trademark charm. In addition, whether you’re in the mood for witches, monsters, or zombies, Marvel’s Halloween lineup definitely has something spine-tingling for everyone to enjoy this season.
